Research material for the books of Randall Kennedy.

The bulk of this collection relates to Harvard Law School professor Randall Kennedy's research for several of his books. Most of the material is for the book "Interracial Intimacies: Sex, Marriage, Identity and Adoption". Other books include: "Nigger: The Strange Career of a Troublesome Word" and "Race, Crime, and the Law". Material includes research notes, articles collected by Kennedy, court documents, correspondence, audio and video recordings of interviews and presentations, book reviews, interviews, and other related materials. The collection is dominated by secondary research material. Kennedy did, however, annotate some of the material, mostly articles and correspondence. There are also several folders of hand written notes.
